Using its SurveyOne™ platform, DemandTrans develops sophisticated data collection applications, including a comprehensive research-focused web survey product used extensively by our partner, the American Hospital Association (AHA). For a MacArthur Foundation-funded national model program for adolescent behavioral health, a multi-year endeavor headed by researchers at Harvard and UCLA, DemandTrans used SurveyOne as the basis for a behavioral health clinical trials application that helped advance the state of the art in this discipline.
Using the Feedback Server survey data collection tool as an underlying platform, DemandTrans has developed tailored data collection systems to meet the specific needs or our clients. The Health Research & Educational Trust (HRET), an affiliate of the American Hospital Association (AHA), partnered with DemandTrans to develop the HRET Comprehensive Data System (CDS). This web-based software application supports numerous HRET data collection and research initiatives, including the Partnership for Patients, a program sponsored by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services involving a nationwide 1700 hospital engagement network (HEN). The CDS-based HEN application enables thousands of hospital level participants to enter and view reports on adverse events with the goal to prevent complications and readmissions. For the World Bank, DemandTrans implemented an advanced web-based version of the Bank’s annual Doing Business worldwide survey, which involves 20,000 participants in 180 countries around the planet. Doing Business is the definitive global information source on the ease, transparency, and regulatory aspects of private enterprise’s ability to conduct business in every economy on the planet.
